Types of ultrasonic welding mainly include the following:

‌Spot welding‌: This is one of the most commonly used ultrasonic welding methods. The longitudinal vibration wave is generated by the Lingke ultrasonic transducer, amplified by the amplifier, and transmitted to the welding head from the vertical direction, so that the welding head vibrates at high speed. When welding, it is usually necessary to press the weldment around the welding point. Spot welding is suitable for welding various metal materials, especially thin metal materials.

‌Continuous seam welding (roll welding): The welding head is disc-shaped, and the entire transducer vibration system can roll continuously during the welding process to complete linear welding. This equipment is mainly used for continuous seam welding of metal foil or thin metal strips.

‌Gird welding‌: The welding seam is completed by torsional vibration. The welding head of the girth welding is cylindrical, and the torsional vibration is generally generated directly by the torsional vibration transducer. Girth welding is suitable for occasions where a circular weld is required.

‌Butt welding‌: A welding method that uses ultrasonic vibration to butt the weldment from the end. This welding device usually consists of upper and lower vibration systems, a hydraulic source for generating contact pressure, and a weldment clamping device. Butt welding is suitable for occasions that require precise butt welding.

‌Microwire welding‌: Suitable for welding fine wires, usually used in modern electronic devices such as integrated circuits and computer circuits. The welding tool head of microwire welding is a thin metal rod that uses two ultrasonic vibration systems with different frequencies or phases to simultaneously transmit longitudinal vibrations.

‌Ultrasonic brazing composite welding‌: This is a technology that combines ultrasonic welding and brazing, suitable for occasions that require higher welding strength.
